Cheltenham Festival Days 2, 3 & 4 Recap: Kitzbuhel, Wodhooh and a Gold Cup Double Close Out a Massive Week
After a strong opening day at Cheltenham, the Festival continued to deliver across the remaining three days with a mixture of outright winners, consistent place selections and strong insider signals landing exactly when expected. From a huge priced winner in the Brown Advisory to a gutsy Mares' Hurdle success and a Gold Cup winning double to close the week, the rest of the Festival showed exactly why preparation, analysis and strong information sources matter most during the biggest week in National Hunt racing.
Day 2: Kitzbuhel Wins the Brown Advisory and the Place Accumulator Lands
Day 2 saw a consistent run of selections with all of our horses hitting the places across multiple races, providing strong returns across several markets. The standout moment came in the Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, where Kitzbuhel produced a brilliant front running display under Harry Cobden. In a fourteen runner Grade 1 contest where 9/4 favourite Romeo Coolio pulled up, Kitzbuhel jumped superbly throughout and held on gamely up the hill to beat stablemate Final Demand by three quarters of a length. Members had the selection covered at 15/2 with a £40 stake returning £340, one of the biggest single race returns of the week.
Kitzbuhel, Brown Advisory Novices' Chase, 15/2 Place
Jumped superbly from the front and held on gamely to beat Final Demand by three quarters of a length. Won.

Alongside the outright result, members also landed a four leg place accumulator covering the first four races of the card. Act Of Innocence finished second in the Turners Novices' Hurdle, Kitzbuhel won the Brown Advisory, Kateira finished inside the places in the BetMGM Cup Handicap Hurdle and Vanillier ran into the places in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase. A £100 stake returned £570, proving the consistency of the selections across multiple angles on a single card.
Day 2 Place Accumulator (4 Legs), £100 Stake
Act Of Innocence, Kitzbuhel, Kateira and Vanillier all placed. £570 returned. Won.

Cheltenham handicaps and novice contests often produce surprises, and identifying runners who can handle the unique demands of the track is what separates profitable weeks from average ones. Day 2 delivered across the board.
Day 3: Wodhooh Grinds It Out and the Forecast Lands
Day 3 delivered one of the most satisfying results of the week through the Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle. Wodhooh showed tremendous courage under Jack Kennedy, travelling well into contention before digging deep up the Cheltenham hill in a race that was far from straightforward. Jade De Grugy, ridden by Paul Townend, threw down a serious challenge in the closing stages and pushed Wodhooh all the way to the line. In the end, Gordon Elliott's mare held on by a length in a gutsy, hard fought finish that highlighted her battling qualities. With only seven runners in the field, the race was always likely to be a tactical affair, and Wodhooh showed the class and tenacity to get the job done when it mattered most. Members had the selection at 6/4 through the Super Boost.
Wodhooh, Close Brothers Mares' Hurdle, 6/4 (Super Boost)
Held on by a length from Jade De Grugy in a gutsy finish. Won.

But the real value on Day 3 came through the reverse forecast landing. With Wodhooh finishing first and Jade De Grugy finishing second, the reverse forecast paid out at 10/11, creating another strong result for members who followed the selection across multiple markets. Forecast markets are often overlooked by casual bettors, but when race dynamics and horse profiles align, they can provide excellent value at short prices with high strike rates.
Wodhooh / Jade De Grugy, Reverse Forecast, 10/11
Wodhooh first, Jade De Grugy second. Reverse forecast landed. Won.

Day 4: Dinoblue Defends Her Crown and Gaelic Warrior Storms the Gold Cup
The final day of Cheltenham delivered exactly the type of finish everyone hopes for, with two major winners combining to produce the perfect send off to the Festival. Within the Insider Info Chat, Dinoblue was tipped at 2/1 for the Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase, and the confidence proved justified as Willie Mullins' mare successfully defended the title she won in 2025. Ridden by Mark Walsh, Dinoblue jumped accurately throughout and showed her class in the closing stages to beat Only By Night and confirm herself as the dominant force in the mares' chasing division. With Diva Luna withdrawn on the morning of the race, a Rule 4 deduction applied, but the result was never in doubt once Dinoblue asserted her authority from the second last.
Dinoblue, Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase, 2/1 (Insider Info Chat)
Defended her 2025 title with a classy display. Rule 4 applied. Won.
But the day did not end there. Our horse tipster Jordan combined Dinoblue with Gaelic Warrior in a double for the Gold Cup, and the result was spectacular. Gaelic Warrior produced one of the most impressive Gold Cup performances in recent memory, powering clear after the second last under Paul Townend to win by eight lengths from Jango Baie. At 11/4 joint favourite, the market respected his chance, but the authority of the victory exceeded even the most optimistic expectations. Willie Mullins, who dominated the entire Festival, sealed his week with the ultimate prize.
Dinoblue / Gaelic Warrior Double, 10.25/1
Both winners. £5 free bet returned £47.50. Rule 4 adjusted. Won.

The double paid 10.25/1 before the Rule 4 adjustment, closing the Festival on the highest possible note.

When strong analysis meets the right information, the market does not always get it right. And when that happens, the value appears.
