Midweek Masterclass: 14 Winners Across Four Services
The Emirates fell silent. Ninety minutes of tactical chess between Arsenal and Liverpool produced the first goalless draw between these sides in over a decade, but the match will be remembered for a stoppage time flashpoint that drew condemnation from pundits and players alike. At the Vitality Stadium, Antoine Semenyo hammered a 95th minute thunderbolt past Guglielmo Vicario to snatch three points from Tottenham. In Kuwait, PSG and Marseille needed penalties to settle Le Classique after Gonçalo Ramos equalised in the fifth minute of stoppage time. And in Morocco, Mohamed Salah delivered in the 124th minute to drag Egypt past Benin and into the AFCON quarter finals.
Fourteen winners. Four services. Four days of relentless action. Here's how it unfolded.
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool: The Title Race Tightens
Thursday night at the Emirates was supposed to provide clarity. Arsenal, six points clear at the summit, hosted a Liverpool side ravaged by injuries and missing Mohamed Salah to AFCON duty. Instead, it delivered tension, frustration, controversy, and the first goalless draw between these clubs since August 2015.
Liverpool arrived without Salah, without the injured Hugo Ekitike. The bookmakers had Arsenal as heavy favourites. What actually happened was 90 minutes of Arne Slot's side digging in, soaking up pressure, and somehow failing to register a single shot on target for the first time since March 2010 against Wigan.
Arsenal dominated the first half. Bukayo Saka caused problems down the right, firing an early effort comfortably saved by Alisson. Liverpool's best chance came from an audacious Conor Bradley chip that struck the crossbar after a defensive mix up between David Raya and William Saliba.
The second half belonged to Liverpool. Slot's side controlled proceedings as Arsenal faded, but clear cut chances remained elusive. Dominik Szoboszlai's free kick dropped just over the bar, the closest the visitors came to breaking the deadlock. Substitutes Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli tested Alisson in stoppage time, but it proved to be a frustrating night for the Gunners.
Final score: 0-0. Arsenal's lead at the top extended to six points, but the opportunity to go eight clear had slipped away.
Pre-Match Football members had four selections across this fixture. All four landed.
Dominik Szoboszlai Over 2.5 Shots @ 9/2
Liverpool's Hungarian midfielder has become one of the Premier League's most progressive ball carriers this season. Against Arsenal, with Liverpool needing to create something from nothing, Szoboszlai was always going to be central to their attacking efforts. He finished with five shots, comfortably clearing the line before the 76th minute.

Dominik Szoboszlai Over 2.5 Shots @ 9/2
Finished with five shots, clearing the line comfortably. Won.
Gabriel Martinelli Over 0.5 Shots on Target @ 4/5
Arsenal's Brazilian winger came off the bench in the 78th minute and immediately looked to make an impact, testing Alisson with a driven effort in stoppage time.
But Martinelli's evening will be remembered for something else entirely. In the dying moments, with Conor Bradley lying injured on the turf after appearing to twist his knee, Martinelli threw the ball at the stricken defender before attempting to shove him off the pitch.
The incident sparked fury from Liverpool's players, with Ibrahima Konaté squaring up to Martinelli before both received yellow cards. Bradley was stretchered off and left the Emirates on crutches wearing a supportive brace, with Arne Slot fearing the worst. Roy Keane called Martinelli's behaviour "an absolute disgrace" on Sky Sports. Martinelli later apologised on Instagram, saying he "didn't understand he was seriously injured in the heat of the moment."
The shot on target still landed.

Gabriel Martinelli Over 0.5 SOT @ 4/5
Tested Alisson with a driven effort in stoppage time. Won.
Bet Builder: Jesus Fouls, Konaté Fouled, Arsenal Goals Range @ 23/20
Gabriel Jesus entered in the 64th minute and immediately became involved in the physical battle that defined the closing stages. Konaté, Liverpool's towering centre back, drew fouls from set piece situations as Arsenal grew increasingly desperate. The match finishing 0-0 meant Arsenal's goals fell within the specified range. Three legs, all green.

Bet Builder @ 23/20
Three legs, all green. Jesus fouls, Konaté fouled, Arsenal goals range. Won.
Copy Bet: Gravenberch Shot + Arsenal Unders @ 1.15/1
This was structured with money back protection if one leg lost, essentially a bet on Ryan Gravenberch to shoot with insurance. The goalless draw meant all four legs landed cleanly.

Copy Bet @ 1.15/1
Gravenberch shot plus Arsenal unders. All legs landed cleanly. Won.
Bournemouth 3-2 Tottenham: Semenyo's Farewell
What looked like a routine away point for Tottenham became one of the finishes of the season on the south coast.
Mathys Tel opened for Spurs inside five minutes with a deflected strike, but Bournemouth responded through Evanilson's header in the 22nd minute and Eli Junior Kroupi's close range finish in the 36th to lead 2-1 at the break. João Palhinha's spectacular bicycle kick in the 78th minute seemed to have rescued a point for Thomas Frank's struggling side.
Then came the 95th minute. Antoine Semenyo collected the ball 25 yards out, shifted onto his right foot, and unleashed a thunderbolt into the bottom corner. His final act in a Bournemouth shirt before a reported £65m move to Manchester City. Andoni Iraola confirmed after the match it would be Semenyo's last game for the club.
Our interest was in Tottenham's attacking right back Pedro Porro. The Spaniard has been one of the most progressive defenders in the league this season, and with Spurs chasing the game for large periods, he was always going to be involved in the attack. Porro registered three shots across the 90 minutes, comfortably clearing the 1.5 line.

Pedro Porro Over 1.5 Shots @ 7/2
Registered three shots across 90 minutes, clearing the line comfortably. Won.
Brentford 3-0 Sunderland: Igor Thiago Makes History
Earlier in the week, Brentford hosted Sunderland in a clash between two surprise European contenders. The Bees ran out comfortable 3-0 winners, with Igor Thiago's brace taking him to 16 Premier League goals for the season. That total makes him the highest scoring Brazilian in a single Premier League campaign, surpassing Roberto Firmino, Gabriel Martinelli, and Matheus Cunha.
Thiago opened the scoring in the 30th minute, rounding Robin Roefs after latching onto Vitaly Janelt's pass. Sunderland were handed a lifeline in the 57th minute when Kristoffer Ajer brought down Brian Brobbey in the box, but Enzo Le Fée's embarrassing Panenka attempt was simply caught by Caoimhín Kelleher. Moments later, Kevin Schade's header was nodded home by Thiago for his second. Yehor Yarmoliuk added a third with a thumping finish from a corner in the 73rd minute.
Pre-Match Football members had a bet builder combining Michael Kayode to win 2+ fouls with Simon Adingra to commit 2+ fouls at 4/1. Both players delivered before half time. Kayode's pace drew fouls from Sunderland's retreating defenders, while Adingra's aggressive pressing resulted in multiple infringements before his substitution on 52 minutes.

Bet Builder: Kayode 2+ Fouls Won & Adingra 2+ Fouls Committed @ 4/1
Both players delivered before half time. Won.
PSG vs Marseille: Le Classique Goes the Distance
Le Classique returned on Thursday night, though this was the Trophée des Champions final in Kuwait City rather than a Ligue 1 fixture. What followed was pure chaos.
Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner, opened the scoring in the 13th minute with an exquisite chip after Rulli's stray pass. Marseille responded through Mason Greenwood's penalty in the 76th minute and Willian Pacho's own goal in the 87th to lead 2-1 heading into stoppage time. Then, in the fifth minute of added time, Gonçalo Ramos nodded home to force penalties.
Lucas Chevalier proved heroic in the shootout, saving from Matt O'Riley and Hamed Traoré as PSG claimed their 14th Trophée des Champions. Marseille's wait for silverware since 2012 continues.
Our selection focused on Pierre Højbjerg. The Danish midfielder has become increasingly influential in Roberto De Zerbi's system, and Le Classique always produces midfield battles. Højbjerg registered three shots before collecting a yellow card in the 53rd minute. The selection landed with nearly 40 minutes still to play.

Pierre Højbjerg Over 2.5 Shots @ 7/1
Registered three shots before collecting a yellow card in the 53rd minute. Won.
AFCON 2025: Extra Time Drama in Morocco
Egypt 3-1 Benin (AET): Salah Seals It
Egypt's Round of 16 clash with Benin needed extra time to produce a winner. Marwan Attia's strike in the 69th minute looked to have settled it, but Jodel Dossou capitalised on goalkeeper El Shenawy's parry to make it 1-1 in the 83rd minute.
Extra time belonged to the Pharaohs. Yasser Ibrahim's looping header from Attia's cross restored the lead in the 97th minute. And with the last kick of the game in the 124th minute, Mohamed Salah collected on the counter attack and curled a clinical finish past Marcel Dandjinou with the outside of his boot. Egypt march on to the quarter finals.
Counta Elite identified value on the cards in extra time. Knockout football in AFCON produces cards when matches go the distance. Tired legs, high stakes, the pressure of elimination. Egypt vs Benin delivered exactly that, with cards shown in the additional 30 minutes completing the selection.

Over 2.5 Extra Time Cards @ 21/10
Cards shown in the additional 30 minutes as Egypt won 3-1 AET. Won.
Mali 0-1 Senegal: Pape Gueye Fires Before the Chaos
The quarter final clash between Mali and Senegal was decided by Iliman Ndiaye's close range finish in the 27th minute after goalkeeper Djigui Diarra fumbled Krepin Diatta's cross. The real drama came when Mali captain Yves Bissouma received a second yellow for fouling Idrissa Gueye in first half stoppage time, forcing the Eagles to play the entire second half with ten men.
Before the chaos, our Pre-Match selection had already landed. Pape Gueye, playing in an advanced role for Mali, registered three shots before his substitution in the 62nd minute. A curling effort went wide, a header missed the target, and a third was blocked as Mali searched for an equaliser.

Pape Gueye Over 2.5 Shots @ 9/4
Registered three shots before his substitution in the 62nd minute. Won.
Burnley 2-2 Manchester United: Fletcher's Chaotic Start
Darren Fletcher's first match as Manchester United interim manager ended in frustration. The 41 year old former United midfielder was appointed after Ruben Amorim's sacking following explosive post match comments at Leeds, and his first assignment was a trip to struggling Burnley.
United peppered Burnley's goal with 30 shots but somehow only emerged with a point. An Ayden Heaven own goal in the 13th minute gave Burnley the lead after Bashir Humphreys' cross took a wicked deflection. Benjamin Sesko ended a nine game goal drought in the 50th minute when he latched onto Bruno Fernandes' perfectly weighted through ball and fired first time past Martin Dubravka. The Slovenian added a second ten minutes later, expertly guiding Patrick Dorgu's cross into the net.
But Burnley found a response through Jaidon Anthony in the 66th minute, the substitute cutting inside and unleashing an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Teenager Shea Lacey struck the crossbar late as United's search for a winner came up empty.
Counta Elite was live throughout, identifying value on the goals markets as the match opened up. Over 2.5 Match Goals landed comfortably, and members who followed the double down on Over 3.5 collected again. Four goals in a chaotic contest.

All Sports: Treble Up at Taunton
Thursday's card at Taunton produced three winners for All Sports members, while Meydan delivered a fourth in the evening.
Calvino @ 9/2
Paul Nicholls sent out Calvino as the 6/4 favourite in the 13:00 Novices' Hurdle, but members had backed the selection earlier in the week at 9/2. Harry Cobden's mount disputed the lead throughout, wandered after the second last but rallied in the closing stages to win by three lengths, reversing form with runner up Kapitein Kool who had beaten him on hurdles debut at Newton Abbot.

Calvino @ 9/2
Rallied in the closing stages to win by three lengths. Won.
Brave Knight @ 10/1
Another Paul Nicholls runner, another winner. Brave Knight was prominent throughout under Freddie Keighley's 7lb claim in the Handicap Hurdle, tracking the leaders before hitting the front approaching the final 110 yards. The well fancied Him Malaya (10/3 favourite) finished a disappointing fifth.

Brave Knight @ 10/1
Hit the front approaching the final 110 yards. Won.
Force and Valour @ 5/1 E/W
Dubai racing provided the international angle. Force and Valour stepped up from a third place finish over 6 furlongs on January 2nd to win decisively over a mile in the We One Handicap at Meydan. Billy Loughnane's mount travelled strongly throughout before pulling clear to win by two lengths. The 2/1 favourite Gun Carriage disappointed badly, finishing 11th.

Force and Valour @ 5/1 E/W
Pulled clear to win by two lengths at Meydan. Won.
Insider Info: Crest of Stars Dominates
The Insider Info service delivered Crest of Stars in the 14:00 Maiden Hurdle at Taunton. With pre race favourite Pourquoi Pas Papa a non runner (engaged at Exeter the following day), Crest of Stars started as the 1/1 favourite and justified the price with an emphatic seven and a half length victory under Sam Twiston-Davies. The class was evident from the outset.

Crest of Stars @ EVS
Emphatic seven and a half length victory at Taunton. Won.
