Looking Ahead to February
February brings a packed schedule across football and horse racing, and this is where seasons are decided.
Liverpool vs Manchester City: Title Race Showdown
The biggest fixture of the domestic calendar arrives on Sunday 8th February when Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield with a 4:30pm kick-off.
Liverpool, the defending champions, have endured a turbulent campaign and currently sit 7th in the table, while City are second and four points behind leaders Arsenal. Arne Slot's side will be desperate for revenge after the dismal display at the Etihad in January, and when these two meet at Anfield, the atmosphere alone makes betting markets volatile. We'll be ready.
The North London Derby: Spurs vs Arsenal
The second North London derby of the season arrives on Sunday 22nd February at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 4:30pm kick-off.
Arsenal demolished Spurs 3-0 at the Emirates in November in an extraordinary performance that showcased everything Mikel Arteta's side has become. But Spurs at home is a different proposition entirely, as White Hart Lane remains one of the league's most hostile environments and Thomas Frank's side will be desperate for redemption after a disappointing campaign.
The fixture's placement is brutal for Arsenal, falling between potential Champions League playoff legs and just six days before Chelsea arrive at the Emirates for the March 1st showdown. When fatigue, rotation, and derby intensity collide, that's where we find value.
Champions League & Europa League Knockouts
The Champions League knockout phase playoffs begin on 17th and 18th February with the first legs, followed by the second legs on 24th and 25th February. The Europa League follows the same pattern starting 19th February. Two-legged ties produce drama, goals, and opportunities for both Pre-Match and In-Play analysis.
Dublin Racing Festival & Cheltenham Trials
The Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown on 1st and 2nd February features the Irish Gold Cup, where Galopin Des Champs will attempt an unprecedented fourth consecutive victory. This is the key Cheltenham trial, and the results here will shape the market for the Festival in March.
With the Cheltenham Festival running from 10th to 13th March, February's trials across the UK and Ireland will provide crucial form indicators. All Sports will be covering the major meetings as the jumps season reaches its climax.
23 consecutive profitable months. The streak continues.
